Just a week to go until the first training of the 2022 season and currently the weather is looking perfect!
Training this season will be at the Grafham Ground on Thursday's at 6.30pm. It will be a mixture of softball and hardball practice although there will be no pressure to play or try hardball unless you are wanting to. No kit is required for softball but if you are intending to play hardball then please bring kit along if you have it.
On Thursday 28th April at 6.30pm we are holding a women's taster session to encourage new players to join us for the 2022 season. This will be an enjoyable session for all who attend and a free glass of prosecco/soft drink will be provided for people to drink while socialising at the end. ** Existing members are encouraged to bring along friends who would like to give cricket a go or who are thinking about a return to the sport**
Matches this year are to be held on Sunday afternoons and all fixtures can be found on the Women's Section page of the club website. We will be entering 2 teams into the League again this year, Blackheath Magic and Blackheath Stars. As well as softball this year we are also arranging some hardball friendlies in preparation for entering a team into the I'Anson women's hardball league when it starts in 2023.
