Girls' Cricket
Our girls’ section has grown rapidly over the past few years and in 2026 numbered over 100 girls, aged between 6 and 15. All the girls’ summer training sessions now take place at Blackheath; home matches are split between Blackheath and Grafham.
Whilst the head of our Women and Girls' Section, Sharon Eyers, will remain involved with coaching some of the older girls, the younger girls' coaching will in 2026 be led by Danny and Ronny Harrison, supported by members of the same team of professional coaches who coach the boys. In 2026, the team will be further strengthened by 2 new female coaches, including a female overseas player/coach. Each squad will have a professional squad manager.

U15/U14 girls are also invited to play alongside slightly older girls as part of our women's hardball and softball teams, within the I'Anson League structure.

Winter Coaching Program

U8/U9 squad: Fridays 5.30-6.30pm starting on 9 January at St Longacre School, Shamley Green

U10/U11 and U13/U12 squads: Fridays 7-8.30pm starting on 9 January at Cranleigh School, Cranleigh

U15/U14 squad: Thursdays 7.30-9pm starting on 15 January 2026 at Tormead School, Guildford
In the winter programs, the girls up to U13 will train alongside the boys in the same age groups; older girls will train alongside the Women. For further details and to sign up, see "Upcoming Fixtures & Events" below.
Summer coaching program
After pre-season training for the older squads in the Easter holidays, summer training sessions for all the girls’ squads will start on Thursday 16 April 2026 (U8s-U15s). Younger girls train alongside the boys in the Minis section, starting on Friday 17 April 2026. The timing of sessions is planned to be as follows:

Minis (U6s and U7s): Fridays 4.15-5pm

U9/U8s and U11/U10s: Thursdays 5-6pm

U13/U12s and U15/U14s: Thursdays 6.30-8pm
Subscriptions
Girls’ subscriptions for 2026 are as follows: Minis and U7s: £75; U9/U8s and U11/10s: £110; U13/12s and U15/14s: £145. There is a £20 sibling discount.
