Women's Cricket
Our women’s team was launched in 2019 and quickly grew. Until 2024 our Women’s team was exclusively based at Grafham, which completely redeveloped for that purpose and was formally opened in July 2021. However in 2024, women’s training sessions were moved to Blackheath and women’s matches now take place at both venues.
Since 2021 we have been entering teams in the I’Anson women’s softball league. However, our older girls have been playing hardball cricket for a while now and in 2026 we will also be entering a team in the new I’Anson women’s hardball league. Matches in both hardball and softball leagues will mostly be on Sunday afternoons.
Winter training
Our women’s 2026 winter training programme will be running at Tormead School in Guildford from 7.30-9pm on Thursday evenings, starting on 15 January 2026. All sessions will be coached by our very experienced professional women’s head coach, Sharon Eyers. For further details and to sign up, see "What's On" below.
Summer training
In the summer, training will take place at Blackheath on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm-8pm. Again, all sessions will be coached by Sharon Eyers.
Subscriptions and further information
Subscriptions for the women's section in 2026 are £100 (which includes all summer coaching and match fees). We are keen to attract new members of all standards and would love to hear from you. Please contact any of the squad managers listed below for more details.
