About Grafham
Cricket has been played at Rushetts Common for many years by Grafham & Smithbrook CC. When that club sadly folded in 2019 the lease was taken over by Blackheath Cricket Club.
After a successful "pilot" season for the Men's 3rd XI in 2019, the ground and pavilion underwent substantial redevelopment in 2020, aided by major grants from the London Marathon Trust, Sport England and the Surrey Cricket Foundation.
Grafham was originally the dedicated home of our Women and Girls’ Section but since 2024 Women and Girls’ activities as well and Men and Boys’ have been divided between Grafham and Blackheath.
Grafham continues to be the home of our Men’s 3rd XI in the I'Anson League.
Upcoming Events At Grafham
Hiring
The Grafham pavilion includes a large clubroom, with a bar, and is available for hire for suitable functions and events, as well as by community groups. In addition, the ground can also be hired when not in use by the club, including on some Saturdays during the cricket season.
