This coming weekend we host outdoor theatre at the club for the very first time! On Saturday 4 September we welcome Scoot Theatre with their sixty minute, outdoor, cricket-themed, family-friendly productions of ‘The Comedy of Errors’ at 16:00 and 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at 18:00. Set against the backdrop of our picturesque pavilion, it promises to be a memorable afternoon.
You can book to see just one show if you like, but we recommend making an afternoon of it and booking for both. The bar will be open throughout, so bring a chair or a picnic blanket, relax and enjoy the hospitality of the club with family and friends. There will also be an informal chat with the actors after each show for anyone who might want to know more about the plays or theatre in general.
There’s more information from Scoot below, along with links to the ticket buying pages of their website. Most tickets have already been sold so don't miss out ...
PLEASE NOTE: Parking for spectators will be on the outfield on the far side of the ground from the pavilion. Cars will be directed to this via the track next to the public car-park at the top of the village. Spectators should not drive up the main track to the club or along the track in front of the houses by the ground. Please follow the directions of our traffic marshals.
