A warm and belated welcome this year to Blackheath Cricket Club.
Blackheath CC now has two grounds and pavilions, at Blackheath and Grafham, which will be in constant use throughout this shortened cricket season.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have had to make significant alterations to the way we run and manage the club’s operations this year. I draw visitor’s attention to our Covid-19 information section which contains guidance and advice that the ECB and the government have provided to commence recreational cricket in 2020.
As a visitor to our grounds and pavilions this summer, this note is intended to ensure that everyone is aware of what to expect upon arrival, and what we ask of you when you visit our sites.
Blackheath –
The pavilion will be closed apart from the away changing room in which a toilet will be available. No changing will be permitted in this changing room.
An outside bar will be available from early evenings with helper service. Only contactless payments can be made. At present it will have a limited selection of bottled and canned drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic.
A marquee has been set up, with no side panels to allow for ventilation, in the event that people wish to safely social distance under cover.
No cricket teas or drinks will be provided by the club.
Sanitiser will be available around the site.
An isolation room, which is the home changing room, is available if any visitor develops Covid-19 symptoms whilst on site.
Grafham -
The pavilion will be closed apart from the disabled changing room in which a toilet will be available. No changing will be permitted in this room.
Until further notice, there will be no bar this year.
No cricket teas or drinks will be provided by the club.
Sanitiser will be available around the site.
In the event of poor weather, please return to your cars.
An isolation room, which is the home changing room, is available if any visitor develops Covid-19 symptoms whilst on site.
