Junior Registration for 2026

Updated: Jan 5

The process of registration for the Blackheath junior section depends on whether your child was a member in 2025, or whether they wish to join for the first time in 2026.  The process for each is explained below.

Whichever applies to you, you can find information about membership in the new season on the Boys, Girls and Minis pages of the website.

Those who were members in 2025

As usual, the registration process for 2026 began with an existing members’ priority window, which this year ended at midnight on Sunday 4th January 2026If your child was a member last year and you didn't re-register them by that date it may still be possible to do so depending on the squad, but we can't now guarantee a spot as the process of offering places to those on waiting lists has started.

If you are in this position, please get in touch as soon as possible (email Nick Harrison at nharrison@serlecourt.co.uk) and we'll still fit you in if we can. If there is still space, the procedure for re-registering is as set out below. At the time of writing, you can still also sign up for winter training: see the last section of this post.

Procedure for re-registering an existing member

Registration is done online from the club website and can be done on your pc, tablet or smartphone. Go to blackheathcricket.com, click on “Members” and enter the Username (or email address) and Password you used last year. If you’ve forgotten, follow the prompts to reset your Password. This will take you to your personal Dashboard, where you should select the child you want to re-register under “Your Family” and follow the prompts.

You will find that all the information that you input last year is still stored, so the process should be very quick.  However, we ask you to review the information we hold for you, make sure the details are correct and give the necessary consents.   Please remember that your registration is not complete until payment has been made.

Adding a child to the waiting list

If you have a child who is an existing member, but would like to sign up a sibling for the first time, this has to be done through the waiting list: log in as above, click on “Add Your Child” and follow the prompts.

Joining for the first time in 2026

Everyone joining the Blackheath junior section needs to do so through our waiting list system, and this is the starting point.  We are generally able to offer places to most children on waiting lists each year, though it does vary depending on the age group.

Joining the appropriate waiting list if you are new to the club

If you’re new to the club and your child is not currently on any of our waiting lists, putting their name on the appropriate list is very straightforward: just click on this link and follow the prompts. You should get an immediate acknowledgment email.

Once you are on our waiting lists

Since the end of the existing members priority registration period on Sunday 4th January 2026, the process of offering places to those on waiting lists has been underway. If you are already on our waiting list, please look out for one of our offer emails - in some cases this may take a little time as we work down the waiting list. If you are hoping for an offer and have not received one, please check your spam filter before getting in touch.

We ask that any offer is taken up within 14 days of the date of the offer, however it helps us greatly if everyone responds to the offer as quickly as they can, either by proceeding to register straight away or by letting us know that they will not be taking it up. If you are no longer interested in a place, please let us know so we can remove you from our list.

Winter training

From January onwards, there is a winter training program for both boys and girls (U8 and older) at several different venues.  The younger boys’ and girls’ sessions (U8/U9 and U10-U13) are being run by Danny and Ronny Harrison, and are on Friday evenings.  Older boys are invited to train with the Men on Sunday mornings, and older girls are invited to train with the Women on Thursday evenings.  Numbers for each junior winter coaching session are limited to an average of 12 per squad, which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If you would like to sign up for these sessions then, once you have re-registered for 2026, you can do so at the links below.

·       U8-U9 boys and girls winter training (Longacre School, Fridays 5.30-6.30pm)
